I'll work with you to make the guitar that is best suited to the music you play and how you play it. You can have your instrument tailored in the choice of wood, neck profile, string spacing, and scale length. I also want to hear if you want any special inlays or have other aesthetic ideas for your guitar.

My guitars use an original plantilla (body shape) that has a round lower-bout, reminiscent of a Fleta Guitar, but with a narrow upper-bout, like many Santos guitars. I offer two bracing patterns; one is 7 fans with lower V, the classic pattern by Torres and Hauser. The other is 7 fans open at the bottom with the fan splay a little more perpendicular to the grain of the soundboard, as used in some Santos guitars. I can add a diagonal fan leaning towards the treble. I use a continuous thin strap under the bridge, as is used in the Granada School instruments after the Marin Montero/Bouchet collaboration or I can make guitars more akin to the Torres tradition, without any braces or straps under the bridge.

Woods used for the guitar are great tonewoods, which have excellent tone properties and are not premium grade only because of a cosmetic factor. They are much like the woods you see on guitars by Torres and Santos, who learned to take advantage of all woods for their masterpieces. If you would like to upgrade the woods, I can get the very best at an additional cost from any of the many tonewood suppliers.

Necks are made of quarter-sawn wood and have a thin and tall carbon graphite reinforcement bar inlaid into the center of the neck for stability. It adds almost no weight to the neck and still offers enough flexibility for the neck to aid in the sound of the guitar. The standard neck is 52 mm wide at the nut and 62 mm at the 12th fret. Thickness is 21 mm at the 1st fret and 22 mm at the 9th fret. String spacing is 43 mm at the nut and 57 mm at the bridge. All of these measurements can be adjusted to your personal preference.

Bridges use a 12 hole tie block. Action is 2.5 mm to 3 mm from high E to low E at the 12th fret. The action can be set up to your personal preference also. The standard tuners are Schaller Hauser style in gold with ebony buttons, or I can procure other tuners such as Sloan, Gotoh Premium, Alessi, Rodgers, or Graf for the market cost at the time of purchase. The case is a standard black vinyl covered arched-top case with plush interior. If you prefer another case, it can be procured for the market cost.

The guitar is finished in french-polished shellac. My preference is for the finish to have a little amber color, but if you prefer a completely blonde finish, it can be done. My adhesive of choice is hide glue and all of the glue joints are done with it. I only use Titebond for rosette work and epoxy to glue the carbon-graphite neck reinforcement.
